Themes and deadlines:
We invite all writers, painters, illustrators, poets, photographers and artists who imagine beyond their means, to GET INTO BED before ...well, we have extended the deadline until May 5, 2009!
For our sixth issue, the theme will be all about Voyeurism...I spy with my little eye, a voyeur in you.
Do you know who might be watching you?
For some it might be gratification and for others unsuspecting that they could be the centre of another’s pleasure.
Deviant and dark versus luscious and light…
Then on July 21, 2009, we are going to email all of our friends, neighbours, lovers, and enemies to help mess up the sheets until the next issue...
Beyond the bedroom and the laptop, IN MY BED Magazine will be accepting submissions for the following themes:
Issue #7 Sex and the Paranormal/Supernatural
Deadline for submissions: July 21, 2009
Launch: October 21, 2009
Issue #8 Obsession
Deadline for submissions: October 21, 2009
Launch: January 21, 2010

IN MY BED Magazine Submission Guidelines:
If you are an emerging or established writer, artist or photographer... there is always room for you IN MY BED.
Please adhere to our little guide if you want to submit and surrender your original and independent creations…
- Poetry: up to 3 poems (in Word format)
- Short fiction, prose, or excerpts from a novel: no more than 5 pages or 1,250 words (in Word format)
- Paintings/illustrations/photography: no more than 5 images (we prefer to get image files in 300dpi) Please also provide a short artistic statement…how your work relates to the theme as well what technique/application you used.
- Bio: tell us a little bit about yourself in 75-150 words.
We also welcome a link to your website (if you have one).
You must indicate which theme you are submitting to.
We will only review submissions for the themes listed above.
